Hey There

I love design because I understand the complexities of it all that others don't understand, but I still find a way to make it all beautiful. That passion only grew upon studying Publications Design and Infographics at Ohio University, where I fully immersed myself in the world of design.

 

While there, I served as a writer, photographer, and designer for multiple publications. Through my hard work and dedication, I received The Scripps Multicultural Enhancement Multicultural Award for my leadership and creativity.

The last summer before my senior year, I worked as a design editor for The Chautauquan Daily. The summer in Chautauqua changed my life, to say the least. I grew a new love for illustration thanks to the leadership and collaboration I received. In addition, being mentored helped me develop a primary focus on creating informative pieces for the public eye.

 

After graduating, I worked for a political ad agency, The Pivot Group, specializing in voter communications through direct mail, advanced targeting, and providing strategic guidance to progressive causes, organizations, and campaigns across the country. From here on, I have worked on making sure I use my platform to help inform others.

When I am not designing, you can find me fixing up old cameras, thrifting, or watching movies with a glass of Moscato in one hand and a bowl of kettle corn in the other.
